Denver's street art festival is now taking Colorado artist applications for its 2018 event.
CRUSH WALLS began seven years ago predominately as a local graffiti gathering. It's now grown to highlight the best in Denver street art as well as some of the best national and international street artists. Nearly 200,000 visitors are expected to roam the streets and alleyways during the week-long open-air gallery show.
Colorado-based street artists -- or just any artists -- can apply for CRUSH between May 10 and June 15 on the Rino Art District website.
You don't throw down with a spray can? No worries. Those working with yarn bombs or wheat pastes or any other medium are welcome to participate in CRUSH. You can apply as an individual or as a group of artists, but you must be a Colorado resident or must team up with a Colorado resident artist.
