What time does Denver Graffiti Tour begin?

Our normal mural tours start at 10 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. We also offer a tour with an alcohol stop at 3PM on Saturdays. Private tours and custom times are also available.

Where does the tour begin and end?

The morning tours begin in the parking lot at 2314 Broadway, by the big "DENVER" mural. It ends a few blocks away at Denver Central Market, where you can grab a drink or bite to eat from the upscale food hall. The Wine + Walls (3PM tour) starts outside of Improper City beneath the large statue-esque mural.

Where do I park?

Street parking is pretty easy at 10 a.m. when the tour starts. Tour-goers never seem to have a problem finding a spot within walking distance. (Or take an Uber or Lyft to make it super easy.)

Do you offer private tours?

Why, yes we do! Learn more.

What is RiNo Art District?

RiNo Art District is an organization (and an area) that supports the arts. A big part of that is the cultivation of Denver's best and densest collection of street art and murals.

Which do you talk about, graffiti or murals?

Most of our stops are in front of large-scale murals. (Plenty of Instagram-worthy opportunities.) But we also discuss the gamut of street art from illegal graffiti writing to wheatpastes to sticker graffiti to stencil art and maybe event a yarn bomb or two.

Do you give back to the artists? To the community?

We donate 5% of our profits to a local charity. In 2018, this donation was made to BirdSeed Collective because we love their holistic approach around healthy food, access to opportunity and their support of the arts. In 2019, we may repeat this donation or focus our contribution toward housing affordability issues as that is also a major issue in Denver.

Where do you get your information?

Because one of us went to college for journalism and both of us are ardent NYTimes readers, we take reporting accurately very seriously. For this reason, our tours are based on a blend of interviews with 35+ artists and news stories we've tracked down on the web. If you have questions or want additional information on anything we say on the tour, let us know and we're happy to give you our source.

Are you affiliated with CRUSH?

We are not affiliated with CRUSH. While we initially discussed a collaboration with CRUSH, all parties decided to move forward with their own thing. That said, we think CRUSH has done an awesome job bringing talent into the city and making Denver a top art town.
